All new babies are invited for an 8 week check. You will receive a note from the Child Health department telling what date to attend for your baby’s immunisations and child’s pre-school booster. These are given by the Practice Nurses. On the same day we would like to also do mums post-natal check so that you don’t have to make another appointment.
Tuesday 2pm onwards (alternate weeks)
Led by our Nursing team, this clinic offers advice and general health check-ups to patients diagnosed with diabetes. Patients are invited for reviews and annual health checks. A doctor usually sees patients after they have seen the nurse.
Our Nurses are also available for a wide range of health care and advice, for example, asthma care, advice on travel and family planning. Please enquire at Reception.
We also have the services of a Health Trainer.
We no longer have clinics here at the surgery. You will be seen by the Midwife at one of the Health Centres, who will arrange your booking and scans. We usually refer patients for booking for delivery at Royal Bolton Hospital, where scans and routine blood tests are also performed.
Nurse Led Immunisation Baby Clinic

These are usually done at the Friday morning nurse led immunisation baby clinic. However if this time is not convenient, a different appointment can be made.
School Age Children. Routine immunisations are administered by the School Nursing Service (Tel 464570)
